Contact Lenses

As an independent practice, we have access to almost any contact lens currently available.

We can provide and fit a wide range of contact lenses including monthly disposables, daily disposables and coloured lenses as well as those that correct for astigmatism.

We can also supply and fit varifocal contact lenses that correct both for distance and near vision for those patients that usually need a separate reading prescription.

Most of our patients opt for our monthly payment scheme which provides:
  • All contact lenses
  • All contact lens solutions
  • All contact lens aftercare appointments
  • A full eye examination every 2 years
  • Insurance to replace any lenses due to loss or damage (up to 4 lenses per year)
  • 15% off the cost of a complete pair of spectacles.

The contact lens monthly payment schemes start from £19.95 per month.

If you are keen to try contact lenses we offer a contact lens suitability appointment, or contact lens trial, which includes:

  • An assessment of your eyes and tears to ensure you that they are suitable to wear contact lenses
  • Some trial lenses to try for a couple of weeks (or about 5 pairs of dailies if you are trialling daily disposables)
  • A teaching session to show you how to put them in and take them out
  • An explanation of all the fluids and solutions (if required)
  • A follow up appointment to see how you have got on.
